The annual beer awards in Wellington last night was a hugely successful evening for the Dunedin craft brewery.
The company picked up four trophies and five medals including the coveted award for “New Zealand Champion Brewery”.
Now in it’s eighth year, BrewNZ is the premier event for brewers in New Zealand with entries from local and international brewers.
Richard Emerson and the team are thrilled with the outcome of judging by a panel of New Zealand and international judges.
“We’ve spent the last three years getting the small things right. Last nights result was a fantastic reward for our team effort. Ultimately the consumer wins, because as brewer’s we endeavour to improve the quality of our beers every year”.
The celebration of New Zealand beer continues for the next two days with the public able to sample beer from forty New Zealand breweries at Beervana in the Wellington Town Hall.
